having a problem with a seller

I bought a steering wheel off of snkmug I sent him a check for $60 It cleared out of my bank on feb 27th I have yet to get the steering wheel and he hasn't wrote back latley ...help ??

send him pm's. you can tell if he has read them because they wont be in your outbox. if he starts reading them and not responding then you can get pissed.

if that still doesnt work, then leave negative feedback for him in the feedback section.

dont know about how to go about getting your money back if he doesnt come through. hopefully someone else will chime in about that. in the future it is a good idea to use paypal (even though if they have no money in their account then paypal cant give it back to you) or use a postal money order. i believe if you would have sent a postal money order in this case he could be charged with a felony if he doesnt come through.

Paying with a check it's a little harder. I'd contact your bank and see if they can make any suggestions what can be done. If you paid with a Credit Card you can typically dispute the charges but checks are different... a lot different.

I dont really have any advice...other than, i bought an 03 throttle body from him a month or so ago, and it came right on time and he kept in touch pretty well.

like a week or two before I bought the steering wheel from him I bought a fog light harness from him and it came a little slow but in all it was a normal deal. Ill call the bank on monday.... he is reading my messages just not replying

also, it might be a good idea to stop posting in threads like you have. a lot of times its a simple explanation.

it would be better to PM the people you believe have purchased from him and ask them directly.

no need dirtying somebodies name. i noticed over on srtforums he has perfect feedback with a number of transactions.

got him to send the part at least and he finally wrote back and said it was sent...but we will see he said it was sent last saturday too. It shouldn't have taken a month...
