Ok I have about $325 just to kick around so I am debating weather to the the MPX Throttle Body (http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/mpx_2k_tb.htm) or the MPX ATX Valve Body (http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/pe ... e_vb.shtml). I am looking to get the best performance obviously, but unfortuanatley I have an ATX so I thought that maybe the valve body would be better because I would get more performance out of my transmission. But then again I have 85,xxx miles on the original tranny and I am not sure if the valve body would harm my transmission or not. Anyone know?
Then Again I was thinking of getting the throttle body because I know it will give me better performance and it looks good when I have my car at shows. But of course I have an ATX so I don't know if I will even notice the power difference with the throttle body.
I already have an OBX header, striaght pipe, Thermal R&D muffler, AEM CAI, and Magencore spark plug wires.
So... Basically does anyone know what would give me better performance? And will the valve body hurt my transmission? Thanks guys.

I hear HP gains are rather minimal with the TB, I would invest in either performance valve body or an MTX swap.
2002 Dodge Neon SE
Mopar Stage 3 Coilovers w/Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings
SRT Swap in progress
SRT is powered by an AGP 50 trim stage 4 ball bearing turbo kit
When finished will run no less then 400 HP.

Re: Throttle Body or ATX valve body
The Zzapp Motorsports throttle body is a good choice and so is the valve body. Both are independent of each other. The throttle body will give you more power, the valve body will not. The valve body will reduce shift times which will be the car faster. With the mileage on the transmission is not high for a transmission, but I would be concerned about putting in a valve body in a transmission with that mileage on it, as you will be increasing the stress on parts that are worn.
