Mitsu. Turbo set up
Mitsu. Turbo set up
hey I have a leftover 16g for a talon/eclipse that I have just rebuilt. Anyone ever tryed to put one in there cars. I have a 02 chrysler neon le. Upgrades are SPEC stage1 clutch and flywheel ass. 250lpm high flow fuel pump the rest is pretty much stock. What PSI would be consider the max on stock engine and would my clutch handle that power I know its not gonna be that much but I've already hade problem with it sliping on take off. Anyway thanks for y'all help.

On an 02, run psi. Yes, you will need a clutch, and you'll make somewhere between 200 and 220 whp if you tune it right.
Just don't do anything stupid like forget to run a fuel system.

Typo... make 8 psi. Don't go any higher on a 9.8:1 compression ratio motor like yours.esteinmaier wrote:On an 02, run psi. Yes, you will need a clutch, and you'll make somewhere between 200 and 220 whp if you tune it right.

fuel system
Need to change injectors. What should I go with? Would 450's be too much? and was also wondering how much psi of fuel the system can handle. Because there is only a single line and the regulator is in the tank weird setup. I'm used to my talon with a pressure and a return line too. Would the plastic intake manifold handle the pressure? lost more question but will only post a few at a time.
Thanks Dave

Bull shit. You need a return line if you use any psi and have a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. You can only run without a return line if you are using a standalone computer, and EVEN THEN it's still recommended to use one. Telling someone crap like this will aid them in blowing up their stuff.kArLoZ wrote:you don't need fuel return line for 8-10 psi, but yes, he needs to change the injectors, 10psi can be handle by the plastic intake

So many neons so little time.
The plastic intake has nothing to do with needing a return line.kArLoZ wrote:you don't need fuel return line for 8-10 psi, but yes, he needs to change the injectors, 10psi can be handle by the plastic intake
