After looking through some old pictures.. I now LOVE the way my car used to look. Damn.

This was back before I was a member here. Had the hammerhead spoiler. My only mods were wheels, paint, tail lights and headlight bulbs. This was back when the paint was actually nice and shined.
I'm thinking it's the grill.. should I put it back in?
I've spent too much now to go back.. It'll all be worth it in the end I guess.

I like the way it is now, but yeah, it looks bare without the grill.

I know a first gen grill works on 2nd gens from 00-01. That might looks good, a gloss black one. It still looks fine without the grill though. I like the subtle look of the eyelids. They are the shorty ones and look great.

I'll look into that too. I think it might just be my paint. Once I respray it again -now that I've learned from my mistakes- I'm sure I'll love the car all over.

My thoughts are put grill back in and maybe mesh the bumper. I think it will look nice with the little chrome in the front.
And I liked you spoiler from the b4.

^ I agree; put the grill back on and lower it.

The car looks like a starving whale without a grille.

Grill FTW. It just looks plain without it. Lower wouldn't be bad either.

Is it lowered?
If not, that is probably your problem...
I remember when I got my 01 CG lowered, man it looked so hawt. Like the first week I had it lowered I couldn't keep my eyes off of it when I like went into a store, I would walk backwards.
Lowering a 2nd gen = best mod EVER!

If you really want to know, its the eyelids that makes it look tacky. Get rid of them, and get some black housing depo lights, put the grill back on, and of course lower it, and then walk away.

Why don't you paint the chrome part of the grille your body color? Just an idea

Id say leave the grille out (hated it when i had stock bumpers) or paint it and put it back in.
I like the eyelids you have, gives it character.
and lower it

Grill back in. Lose the eyelids. Lower definitely.
Also, did your car come with the R/T spoiler? Whether it did or not, thank you so much for taking it off. That's the only spoiler they've ever put on a Neon that didn't go with the body at all. Even the SRT spoiler doesn't look that bad.

at the PSI you were riding at, no wonder you hated it, haha
at a lower PSI, it's smooth as hell... but with your kit, there was probably no way you COULD ride that low.

1g grille only works wiht modification. trust me. i did it. it looked ok... woulda looked better if i had got the mounting tabs right, the gril had a harsh downward slope that made it look kinda funny.
