Dome Light Question

Post by EmersonHart13 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 8:50 am

Anybody ever have it where your dome light comes on when you open the door, but the switch on the stalk doesn't work?

Are these through multiple power sources..?

Thanks,

John

Same. You can't turn the dome off when a door is open.

No, not quite...

I mean the dome light works when the door is opened/closed.

But say you stop and want to turn the dome light on with the switch with the door closed, I cannot...

Get it?

Thanks!

When I replaced my multifunction switch with the PT Cruiser unit, that was one of the sacrifices I made. The dimmer doesn't really work, and you can't turn the dome light on and off with it anymore. Hasn't really been an issue because I still have my map lights.

With all the problems people have had with the multifunction switch, I'd put money on that being it.

Okay, well then.... It came back to working so perhaps it is on the way out.... Hopefully it just goes out soon, aka before warranty!

Thanks,

John
