Because easystreet isn't posting their kit at cost. They have that price because they know most of their sales go through retailers, but if someones stupid enough to not shop around, they can benifit off of them buy selling there kit for a huge markup, and in turn making a little more profit. And if someone is smart enough to shop around, then they still in turn make money off of that person.
The retailer buys the kits at cost in mass quantities, so they can sell the kits at the lowest possible prices, while still making some profit. Sure they could sell the kits at the same price as easystreet, but then the retailer would run the risk of loosing customers to other companies, and in the end making less profit.
It makes perfect sence to me, and i benefited from it because i was smart enough to research before i bought it

and....?
the only thing i need to worry about with it being used is the bags... and they're still in pefect condition. I have no leaks anywhere else, my valves work fine, not to mention i can fill up twice as fast as the regular kit, and have alot more control over them becuase of my box.
*shrugs* I'll happily buy used for a fraction of the cost.

Hey Opi if you ever need Airlift parts they are located in Lansing and if you go there the guys usually will toss you a great deal off. Everytime Ive been there with friends to pick up there kits they give us a great deal. My buddies Monte Carlo kit was $200 off what they were gonna charge him. It might be worth the drive.
