Just the low beams. The high beams use reflective housing and it already throws a lot of light with halogens so I don't think HID's are necessary. However HID's in projectors vs halogens made a world of difference!z3roneo wrote:Lil bumpage... hmmmm.... Hids in them huh... Did you buy a set just for the low beams or both and wire them up to use the same ballast?? Or I duno what I'm saying... lol

also yours has a differnt type of halo, more like the led stlye on the BMW's, theres is just a neon tube ring. IMO, yours are betterArro wrote:Yours are different than mine, mine have the turn signal LED's on the top, not the sides.
Also, dies your inner turnsignal area have one or two bulbs? Mine has two, one for the parking light, and one for the OEM turn signal/parking light combo.
We have the same halo, I just don't have the night shots to show it yet.DJ KoZoTo wrote:also yours has a differnt type of halo, more like the led stlye on the BMW's, theres is just a neon tube ring. So H1 bulbs will not fit on the 9007 kit? Dammit...kornholio788 wrote:Boy I told you it is the H1 bulbs. 9007s will come no where close to fitting in the projectors. The ONLY bulbs that will work in both the high beams and the low beams is H1. And there is a little modification you have to do to the bases of the bulbs in order to get them to seat just right. Once you get some H1s let me know and I will explain what you need to do. It isn't hard but you have to be careful not to break the bulb. That 9007 kit is useless to you bro.

Wait wtf. You are going to have to do some custom wiring with the hids. Because they don't make a kit that uses the 9007 stock connectors that we have but still uses the H1 bulbs. I wired it up so I can still use my stock connectors I have to take my headlights out soon soo I can put my new leds in the sides. I will take pics of what I did then pm it to you and explain how I did everything. Everything has quick disconnects on it so I can easily remove the headlight when needed.kc2002acr wrote:So H1 bulbs will not fit on the 9007 kit?
