True, however if you ever decide to sell it, you can sell all the hardware for as much as you picked it up for, you cant say that about most parts for neons. And as far as parts go, you just need to be creative.

if i ever luck out and find a set cheap in a local yard i might do it .. till then lights like this will work .. esp since right now my stock lights really need a good buffing and sanding to get them to be clear again ...

yeah, about the moisture.. hint to everyone who buys any kind of aftermarket lense's, especially off ebay, SILICONE THEM YOURSELF BEFORE INSTALLING... every lense I have ever gotten off ebay got moisture in them, they dont seal those worth shit usually, I bought a set of blk housed projectors for my turbo'd accord and they got so much moisture in them I had to take them apart to dry them out and then reseal them :banghead:

update. I never got my projector lights yet. I called UPS and they said its on its way to North Carolina. WTF i live in CA and they shipped it from Los angeles area.

ONTARIO,
CA, US 03/28/2007 10:19 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN

03/28/2007 8:31 P.M. ORIGIN SCAN
US 03/28/2007 5:26 P.M. BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

I called the guy from m1performace and said he called to set up a trace. The agent from UPS it might have been placed on the wrong truck. He said that in there system its suppose to be shipped to escondido ca. They said that weird that it got placed on the wrong route.

So it looks like my headlights are going on a little nation wide road trip. I hope the package doesn't get busted.... Thank god i have insurance.

I will keep you guys updated. on the breaking news......

i have had that happen before with UPS ... ends up delaying the package by a few days to a week... just make sure and inspect the box before signing for it.

Good job dude, did you hook up the halos or LEDS? As far as aiming:

You use those screws to the top left and middle right to aim. Search around this thread for lambostealths aiming instructions.

Yes, please aim them properly per my posts in this thread, thy are aimed way too high. Projectors are much more intense that reflectors, so your lights are a potential hazard.

meh, got the height of mine adjusted .. but the left/right adjuster on the pass side headlight is doing nothing to move it to the left or right ... and of course it is aimed over to the left by a noticable amount ... ebay FTW ... =P will pull it apart and figure out what to do to resolve it in the near future...

finally got mine almost tweaked enough to be adjusted right ... ended up aiming them a little to low ... so got to move each up a notch or two ... then double check and take it for a test drive again ..

i think once i get the right bulbs for my fog lights i won't need to go to a higher wattage bulb for the high beams ... just will do the mod so they stay on no matter how the switch is.
