I had no luck getting them out but I had to replace my knuckles anyway, so i say screw it and cut the other side off.

Heat makes things expand.

If you heat the bolt it'll only get tighter in the knuckle, so heat the knuckle, the hole will get bigger.

One trick that has always worked for me is to NOT beat on the bolt but rather use a puller to apply pressure on the bolt then give the knuckle a sharp rap with a hammer perpendicular to the bolt hole. You may have to crank down on the puller but it works.

Thanks I will give this a try tonight , just have to stop and pick up a puller on my way home. any small puller should work!

I agree with the posts above. Also try spraying it down with some rust penetrant, let it sit over night, the heat the knuckle with a torch, get a pair of vice grips, and wrench away at it.

Other than that, i dont know what to tell you.

Kinda SOL...

Heat real hot with torch and then spray down with cold water. The heating and sudden cooling will help break up the rust.

Are you also having an issue with the one in the body too?
