Just out of curiosity, are any back-ups performed on the server hosting the 2gn.org fourm? Yesterday when I got that DEBUG error I started to think what would happen in the event of a hard driver failure on the server. There is a lot of valuable information on 2gn.org that could be lost without proper back-ups. I've written a few how-to's that I wouldn't want to have to write up again and probably couldn't remember all the details anyway.
Like i said... just curious

Right now my computer does perform a back up of the entire forum every other day. Right now I believe I have backups of a few months old now b/c like you said, never know when the server could crash on us and all the information is lost.
I also believe the hosting company backs up the SQL database, how often though I'm not sure...

The server is probably set up in a raid configuration where you write to 2 hard drives at once Vs just one...I also believe the hosting company backs up the SQL database, how often though I'm not sure...
If you dont understand, basically a typical computer writes to a single harddrive...when it crashes your F'd
A server in RAID configuration writes to 2 hard drives at once creating a duplicate so when one drive fails,, you can hotswap a new drive in while the secondary is still working.....
If they both fail, your F'd
