Anybody Folding?

Basically for the non geeks it uses the processing power of your computer, to help 'fold' protein strings to help cure diseases. Your info is gathered and sent to Stanford to help in studies.

Basically it just uses computers from all over the world as supercomputers basically, it's pretty cool to watch and look at.

I just read about that. I wish I have a Playstation 3 and I'll participate.

This is similar to the SETI@HOME project where your computer is used to analyze radio telescope data. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/
