Got my first tattoo yesterday

Well, I've wanted to get one for a while but I was way too picky on what I wanted. I knew I wanted my last name but I didn't know where/what font/blah blah. So I finally decided just to get it across my upper back.

The tattoo took about an hour, and I admit, it did hurt, especially when he got to the "R." Just because it's right over my spine. The rest of it wasn't that bad, it was just mostly uncomfortable. I really like it though, at first I wanted it to be bigger, but I actually really like the size of it. Here's a picture of the tattoo:

What do you guys think?

thats pretty inexpensive for a tatoo that big, but looks nice.... The spine is best.

I dunno, I was thinking some shading over it, but I kind of like it as is. I'm not sure yet. I'm gonna let it heal than wait a little while than decide

Maybe a touch of either red or blue might make it stand out a bit? Looks good by the way, nice and straight.

Yeah for sure, I'm way too picky, it took me forever to find a font I liked. I went through like 10 of the shops books of letters to finally decide that I liked these the best.

Maybe a touch of either red or blue might make it stand out a bit? Looks good by the way, nice and straight.

I don't know about color, I was thinking light shading but Im not even sure now

I was thinking about getting my last name on my back too... never went through with it - yet. I think my last name is too long though, and it would hurt. That looks good man! I like it!

Even though my last name is only 8 letters, it's still kind of too long. But it came out really good and I'm really happy with it

Thats an awesome tat danny.

Me and my brother want to get "JOHNSON" tattooed on our back in football jersey letters lol. I've wanted the same tattoo for almost 7 years now, I just haven't gone through with it yet.
