exhaust

i have an 02 sxt, and i wanna put an exhaust on it but im stuck between 2 brands....borla or magnaflow....now magnaflow has a dyno sheet on there site, but i cant find one for borla....does anyone have a dyno sheet for the borla exhaust, and another question which one sounds better....im lookin for a europen kinda sound...not an annoying sound lol...thanks.

I don't have a dyno sheet for the borla, but the sound is good... very good, and it gets better with a CAI. Deep and and somewhat throaty, not a ricer or fart can sound. I don't know what the magnaflow sounds like so hopefully someone will be able to add to the comparison.

i doubt it really matters performance wise which one you pick.

yea i was thinkin borla...and this europen sound something like an M3 or F430, sounds like crap pretty much at idel, but when you spin it over....omg its like angels descending from heaven. and another thing...does anyone know a good place to get that borla exhaust for the cheapest price? thanks.

That European sound is something you will never be able to get if Ferrari's are what we are talking about. They use a flat plane type crankshaft instead of a cross plane like on most V motors.

I've got magnaflow on mine an absolutley love it. Its actually the trubendz version. Mines 2.25" aluminized. It was much cheaper and I was broke at the time. It works out though, because that was before I went turbo, so if it rusts out on me it will give me an excuse to go 3" lol. But seriously, Magnaflow and Borla are the best exhaust companies in my opinion. You would be extremley happy with the sound and performance of either one.

i have cat-back Thermal RD on mine ... quiet low growl at idle .. but opens up around 5k

You can use a rear sway bar with the Borla....
