the idle problem with the 03 and newer neons is possible caused by the TPS having a vaccuum leak. When the fresh motor was installed in my 02 R/T, I was having the same exact code and idle problems.
On my car what it boiled down to was water traveled down the throttle shaft and started rust to form on the lil oring that is on the TPS.
I installed a new TPS with silicon spray grease on the TB and the TPS and the idle problem was gone....
Chances are that when you swap your TPS to the new TB the o ring might not be sealing properly. Try greasing it up a lil and re-installing the TPS on the new TB and see what happens. If that does not help, get a new O-ring and then grease that one up and re-install. I did not believe it myself but it actually made a difference......

POST RESURECTION...
(that way this topic is not a redo
)
I picked up a LFS TB, and finally got it installed tonight. Seat of the pants feel it outperforms my old MPx TB, why and how I dont know. Throttle response is also better than the MPx...
It could also be due to the fact that I have not had a 60mm on the car for a while, I don't know..
But the problems got to me also.....
1 - there is a metal tab on the TB bracket that HAS to be removed, easily done with a grinder and a pair of pliers...touch it up with paint and your all set.
2 - The AEM intake for our stock TB's will not fit over the input side of the TB, some heat and stretching of the AEM silicon adapters and some effort and I got it to work.
3 - Im still working on it, but I cant figure out why on my 02 R/T it throws a code and the CEL is on. The MDx TB never did it...Ive got the car reseting overnight and hopefully the CEL is gone. If not, I'll hook up the DRB at work to see what is actually going on.
I heard several people saying that the 02's had this proplem with the CEL's, I posted earlier on what I thought it was...but now I have a chance to find out what is acutally causing it.

Iceman is a perfect fit to the Lorenzo. They go hand in hand in building torque.

and of course Modernperformance.com
If you have an Iceman intake, I'd go with the Lorenzo. If you have an AEM then the MPX might be a good choice. Have fun.

This is the same setup I have on my 03. I LOVE IT. Anything over 4000rpm and it GROWLS. I'm not sure why people are having check engine lights with the 03's. Maybe it's just the R/T?dawm wrote:i just installed my LFS 60mm the otherday (got it off a 03 R/T that was getting traded in for an ACR-4) i also installed a ICEMAN intake, not sure which gave the most gains but together its a nice package. when i hit 5k and the runners open up.. the exhaust note changes and oh my does it sound loverly
