I was wondering with the stock sxt suspension what is the highest wheel that i can use with the srt-4 wheels.

the largest tire on an SXT fitted to SRT wheels????
40s maybe 45s, but 50s will hit the stock SXT perches.

I saw a set of 215/45/17's on an SXT the other day, however, I don't know if he was running SRT struts or not. The neons.org tire calc says they are a little bit shorter.

Can someone tell me if it can be done without having to change the struts. Because i wanna go with the 215/45 will it rub or will it not rub that is the question.

I can't say for certain. I was just playin around with my SRT rims that had 205/50s and they hit the perch by about 3mm or so.

Sooo... its gonna be really close or its gonna rub. 40s have been the magic number for the SXT.
Hopefully some has either tried or is running now and will pipe up.

Yeah thats what im running right now but it's time to change the tires so i was wondering if not i will have to buy used srt struts

was running the 205 40s and there seems to be definatly enough room for the 45 i am moving up to 215/40/R17s this summer
