Best way to hook em up ... Face em like you would normally and towards the other car but it helps to open up the back seat when u wanna really pump em.

You'll definately feel it when you face em towards your trunk.

But.

I've had mine facing the trunk for the longest time, with no dynomat on the CF one, the thing fucking rattles like two people having sex on a dryer. It ended up unbolting my solenoid that opens my trunk (have no key) so as a temporary fix, I put the subs directly behind my seats. It sounds very nice inside the cab, it doesn't sound like shit outside the vehicle, and the bass is very clear outside as well. The waves travel a lot further.

Have mine facing front with seat open. The noise outside (particularly rattling) a lot less noticable (from cops). I don't have to blast the sh!t out of it as much to get the same boom either.

backwards = better sound pressure
forwards = better sound quality

Yep what he said... kinda depends on your Setup tho...from my experience the best way to find out.. is to try it both ways, and see what works for you..

yeah either way works, but i have allways found it nicer to have them facing the trunk lid, most of the places that install systems, like the one I worked at, face them toward the trunk lid, but yes u do usually get more vibration if u do that, but that is why there is a thing called dynomat :thumbup:

nice bro, I would like something like that for my subs if they weren't so dirty right now...

on topic though, I face my 2 12's towards the car behind me, but thats because I use my car for work and I can pull my seats down to get at the stuff I need in the trunk...but none the less they still sound really good!! :rockon:
