waxing carbon fiber?
Is it safe to wax carbon fiber body parts?

i waxed mine and it looked like shit if you look at my sig you can see the white marks and i could not take it of so i had to sand and reclear the whole hood

2004 white dodge neon 2.4 DOHC swapped

2000 flat black plymouth neon 2.0 DOHC swapped gone

I think that carbon hoods that have not been cleared, but geled, are suceptible to fogging/developing that whitish faded look if you wax them.
I have carbon mirrors that I clay bared and waxed, then a few days/weeks later, they looked like crap. It was easily fixed though. As SrtJesse mentioned, sanding then clearing them fixed the problem. The hastle is what sucked. They have been perfect since, and did not haze when I waxed them.
If you plan on waxing carbon parts, I would suggest testing a small portion to see how it reacts.
