Anyone seen a SRT-D with SRT side skirts ?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Anyone seen a SRT-D with SRT side skirts ?

Post by jmr » Mon Apr 02, 2007 3:44 pm

Has anyone seen or installed the SRT side skirts on a SRT Design ?

I'm curious what side skirts look like with the SRT-D front/rear bumper covers. The SRT-D looks too naked without any side skirts, maybe the R/T skirts would look OK.

It will probably look like ass having just side skirts. At least get a front lip too.

The R/T skirts look good that's probably the best way to go. I like the SRT-4 skirts but since the SRT-D does not have a front lip it would be odd looking.

iLL probably get flamed to hell for this, but I would love to get my hands on an SRT-D front. I hate the grill of reg neon & I dont really like the nostrils of an srt front.

* puts on flame suit. :tardbang:

i'll be the first one to tell you that you should just get the mopar kit.

then i'll probably also be the first one to tell you, if you can get your hands on on, go for it, much luck to you on finding one used, i'd ask black rose racing how he scored his, but i allready have one.

brr works for a dodge dealer iirc, but that is another story - he had to totally rebuild his car because of a wreck (hence, BRR Curse you see posted). Also, the SRT-d front end is more expensive than an SRT-4 front, look for Part # in the PN Requests Forum.

I think the srt-d looks like a frog

It cost more because they look better than the 03-05 "Caravan" Neon. When I had my 03R/T I felt like a soccer mom before I put the SRT-4 front end on it. I would have bought a SRT-4 in 03 except they didn't offer employee pricing for SRT models.

DCX f-up with the 03-04 R/T 's, they should of had the SRT-D front end and also offer a automatic as a trans option. I wanted a MTX so it's was not a issue but allot of people prefer autos.

Instead DCX sold 1,430 R/T in 2003 because people bought the SRT-4 or an auto SE/SXT. DCX's maketing department blows when it come to product placement as we are seeing currently with threats of being sold.

Rant over....
