i would be more concerned about clearing the spring perch or grabbing a fender if you're lowered than the speedo. but it would throw the speedo off a bit i'd assume, and larger tires like that will put more stress on your drivetrain too (so i was told).

i have no troubles with my SRT wheels on stock SRT rubber on my 00 as far as fender grabbing or rubbing. took a few whacks at the rear spring perches with a big fuckin hammer and teh rubbing is gone. im dropt on 1g coils.

as fior the speedo being off, mine is definitely off. jsut not sure how much its off by yet.

I put 17x7 wheels on mine, up 3 sizes from the stock 14" steelies, and I know my speedo is off...I estimated that the gauge is about 5mph a head of what its really going. like 35=30 or something :?

get the speed sensor from the srt or a gt cruiser (if you're an auto) and it wont be off

yeah, well i don't intend on hitting my struts with a hammer.

that's why i didn't put the stock srt rubber on my 17's. plus i was advised not to from a wheel and tire shop incase i was making a turn, the suspension compressed and i grabbed a fender. he said he saw it on a ferrari 360 cuz the guy wanted certain tires even though the shop advised against it. they're the professionals, not me. so i'm going to listen to them.

if the tires are in excellent shape, there are SRT owners on SRT forums that would purchase them from you... got $200 for mine, offsetting the purchase of 205/40/17 tires without having rubbing issues or spedo issues. (there are other tires sizes that work as well, but those are the ones i got)
I guess short of using a hammer, to get those tires to work your gonna spend the money one way or another.
