Rock the stock?

Post by OverDrive418 » Wed Apr 11, 2007 3:00 pm

I put the stock fenders on a while back to clean up the look of my car (had some vented ones you can see in this pic) but I haven't done any pics of my car with them so I did earlier today. Right now I have the CF hood off because I was getting it freshened up and polished but...I kind of like not having it on. Had to take my DC tower bar off too though, but not sure if I want the CF hood on or not. What do you think?

Here's a couple of other shots to get the whole look.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

i think you need to get a CF trunk as well, and keep the CF hood. you already have the black shroud (lack of a better term) around the exhaust, so you need some symmetry.
Nothing makes people doubt the american education system like seeing a psycho driving a customized dodge neon.

With the black diffuser, the black center portion of the front bumper, and the black rear window spoiler I think it needs the CF hood. A CF trunk would finish it off nicely too. Or if you stick with the stock trunk atleast debadge it. Also, the stock grill piece painted black and reinstalled would look nice.

Car looks good though, only one I've seen with that kit.

Paint the mesh black, put the CF hood back on, get CF trunk, and find a PVO CF spoiler.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.

Throw the hood on, get a CF trunk, and while you're at it, get a CF overlay for the entire roof, so it's a body-wide CF racing stripe. LOL.... I ment that as a joke until i started really thinking about it... that sounds kinda interesting. I'm gonna have to contact CBD and see what they can do for me lol.

Your car looks hot. I've got a silver '05 that i'm tryin to get a CF SRT-4 hood and a spoilerless CF trunk for, just tryin to find a good price. Where'd you get that hood? CBD? looks kinda like their one with vents, but i only saw a top shot of theirs, and couldn't really tell from the glance i took at yours.

Love the vented fenders with the CF hood, but with the stock hood, i like the stock fenders.
