2003-05 Projectors

Post by 01NeonR/T » Sat Apr 14, 2007 5:31 am

Looks like they finally mande these low-quality projectors for the 03-05 Neon. They had the 00-02 on Ebay for awhile now.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-05-DO ... enameZWDVW

I'm planning on retro-fitting my own retrofitted 03lights-on-an-01 body with HID projectors. Although I do like the idea of the separate outputs for low and high. Hmm. But that's why I have a Bi-xenon projector. We'll see how my retrofit goes first although I am getting an idea...

Those are pretty nice looking actually. Price is not too bad. Might pick up a set someday.

that looks like the same company that makes the ones that you cant use HID balbs in .. if it is .... then their light quality won't be all that bad ... just the crappy adjusters on em .. and needing to seal the housing.

I'm quite sure they are the same company that made my Black surround basic headlights. Since purchasing mine, the lens has a coat on it that started coming off. Also one of the reflectors came loose inside the housing, which is why I'm going to use the for a retrofit. No problems with sealing, just seems like low quality plastic.

While I agree that they look, and operate nicely, the materials are indeed, low quality.

Anything black on E-blue would look great, I like the blue/black combo.

Just FYI, those are made by a company called "Eagle Eye". But no matter who made them, they look hot on E-blue.

$300 is too much for the headlights. Ill wait till the price drops to about $150.
I still have to do my 03+ upgrade, I got a 2000.
