i think u may need to get some different intercooler pipeing cause it wont be a direct fit cause the compressor opening is kinda going at an angle u also need to know what kind of clamp the exhaust side has cause its mitsubishi so you prob wont be able to use a srt downpipe, need a custom fabd one

with enough money and skills, anything is possible. the question you should be asking is whether or not its reasonable.

We don't have the exhaust flowing out of our cars like the Supra does.

on neons turboing the a588 motor is something that should be resarched alot if your going to do it right. the thing is our motors are built for econemy, economecly... (what i mean by that is basicaly a motor thats good on gas thats cheap) you cant run more than 5lbs to 8lbs(i hear '03+ can take a little more punishment) on our stock insides without risking breaking something. Turbodudey ran his 02 with an srt turbo on 4lbs and blew a rod and put a hole on his oil pan and had minor damage to the block, and that was with good tuning with megasquirt. in my opinion you should goto a junkyard and buy a engine (stay with you 2gn year block 00-02 and 03-05 use different crank triggers) and build it up and that way youll also have a spare motor incase the turboed one goes boom. incase your wondering how much a motor is, i just baught a '03 motor from LKQ for my '05 with 51k miles (maintained by the dealership btw) for $318, trust me itll save you a ton of money and time in the end

My g/f drives a breeze and her timing belt broke, she got a new engine and I took the block from her old one. Bought a used head with crane cam and crane springs and built my own turbo ready motor. My stock one is sitting in my garage just incase.

So does any one have any suggestions as to whether this turbo will fit my 03 sohc SX 2.0. Do I still need the mattdog adaptorplate? I need your help guys. no that plate is only for the srt manifold, you have to get these things to properly turbo your ngc.
intercooler and piping
turbo manifold
bov
wastegate if your manifold dosent have one
boost controller
better injectors
better oil pump
walbro 255lph fuel pump
tubing for oil and maybe coolant lines
better rods and pistons
after that you have 2 routes, megasquirt or a RRFPR. megasquirt is the better route and is about the same in cost as a RRFPR, return line, and spoolboy moded canister.
you definately have to move your collant resovoir
you cant just throw a turbo on our engines and expect it to work unfortuneatly, other things is you might have to move your battery to the trunk and depending on the IC you get you might have to relocate the ECU, regardless of the IC you get your going to have to cut the front a little to get the IC to fit
