Putting In Work on the Ram

Post by LaidNeon » Sat Apr 21, 2007 1:25 am

I know most of you don't know, but this past weekend i jack knifed the trailer while i was towing the neon. I turned too sharp & the trailer spare broke my taillight & bent part of the bed. So i decided, fuck it & shave the taillights.

Image

I just ordered them & this weekend i plan on shaving / relocating the tailgate handle & i plan on doing an Axle Flip too. So the truck should be getting a 2/4 drop this weekend. Im just sick of the stock gayness of my truck & its about damn time i've done something about it

Sorry to hear about the truck, but glad you're turning this negative into a positive!

The neon was not injured, correct?

the damage was very very minor to my truck & it wasn't even serious. Of course the neon escaped with injury. You've got to only better a negative. its always just that kick in the ass for me to make it better

well i got the rear end of my truck jacked up & took my tires off. And well i decided to hold off on lowering my truck. when i do the axle flip i have to notch my frame so the axle wont bottom out on it. I don't own a torch so im just gonna wait for one week i can get my bed off at work & use the torch there to cut my frame

With the help of 2 good friends, we were able to get the bed off my truck today. At first it was just 2 of us & we just couldn't do it on our own. So thanks guys for the help. My frame is finally cut & ready to start welding in the C notch. My Taillight Filler skins also finally have come in too!!! I've also decided to paint the dodge Satin Black. The truck should be lowered this weekend i hope
