Almost had a good weekend... until my window was shattered..

So I went to the stip club last night with a buddy of mine. Nice neighborhood, brightly lit parking lot, packed as hell and people constantly going in and out of the club. I've been working on my neon for the past 2 weeks, busting ass, trying to get it drivable to I can enjoy the weather. Well, I get it all set up and go out, show off and what not.

Come out to my car at about 1:30. My back window is shattered, my $400 CD player is gone, they popped my trunk, took my amp, took my $400 ipod.... basically took everything that was worth any money.

To top it off, I'm beyond broke out of my ass, can't afford to replace ANY of this, and have to pay off my body kit that was charged to my credit card. Yea, I'm having a REALLLLLLLLY bad week...

OH! Top it off, my escort is about to die... so I'm out of that car too... Woo!

IDK why you would ever take that car somewhere like that because people are assholes. They see a nice car and have to fuck with you. Man I feel for you. If someone would have done that to my Cougar id be just as pissed as you.

Got the glass cleaned up. Nothing is wrong with my wires thankfully. The HVAC bezel is back on, but I can't screw in the top holes at all. Things arn't as terrible as I thought they would be.

Monday I'll start calling around glass shops to get it fixed and re-tinted.... then it's time to start looking for a new headunit.

God I need more money.

Thats super gay. Im sorry that happened to you. AT least they didnt take your air ride stuff...that wouldve really sucked. Your car wouldve been stuck there. FTL. I hope you get it fixed quick. I know how it feels to need money and not have it, if i had a few extra bucks id send it to you

did you call the cops and get a report and send it to your insurance? or insurance wont cover what was stolen or damaged?

what did they take in the trunk? I had that happen to me only they pried my door handle. I had forgotten to put the screws in the HVAC bezel so there was no damage done besides the handle.

that totally fucken sucks major donkey balls man.

i finally learned my lesson after 2 windows, 2 headunits, 1 amp, 1 cap, 1 radar detector... everything stollen worth about a total of $2,200 not including the damage and the windows.

I do have vandalism insurance... only bad thing is, I've yet to switch my "storage" insurance back to full coverage. So, cops can't do shit. Not to mention, not ALOT was damaged and it'd be cheaper just to replace shit really. I don't want my insurance rates going up any more anyway....

How the hell did that happen then? Were most of all the people gone when you got back to your car since it was 1:30 am. Any other cars got hit?

Heres my opinion:
Your car is yellow, which means it stands out. Has tinted windows, looks good as fuck. So they see that shit and they suspect a sound system etc in the car and they go to work really fast. Its bullshit. They will get theirs in another shape or form.
Any cameras in the parking lot?
Witnesses?

Well I was at a Strip club all night. I made the mistake of rolling in with my system turned up, and when I parked I dropped the car to 0PSI and let it set.

Went into the club, didn't come out till late. There were still alot of cars there, people moving around the entire time. I didn't see any other cars with there windows busted out. My buddy has his 05 mustang there with a HUGE system, no tint on the windows, nothing, and his car wasn't touched.... I parked behind him too.

There were no cameras, no witnesses, club couldn't do shit. I just hopped in and drove the car home. Not much else I could do at that point in time.

Nope... sure didn't. People tend to ignore car alarms anyways.

It seems that they punched the window out to. There was a hole about the size of a first that was in the tint.

If its a LOUD enough car alarm then it might...

You know what would be cool.. This got me thinking, They probably already have this out but what about a personal vibrator/buzzer that you could carry around. So if someone broke a window or if the door opened up it would notify the owner with a vibration/buzzer remote thingy.

They aren't that expensive, I have a two way paging alarm/remote starter for $400.

And always remember to keep your comprehensive deductable low, mine is only $100, it covers everything but collisions. So all vandalism, and even the things they stole out of your car are covered.

Wow, I would def get the insurance on this.. well if they replace the stolen stuff i'm guessing you have about a 500 dollar deductable ? So the ipod almost pays for it.
You'd get new window amp and all that.
But I guess if you cant then you just gotta move on and not showoff b4 ur going somewhere away from your car. Around here i turn my system down 2 blocks b4 i get to where im goin.
