Post by slaw » Tue Apr 24, 2007 10:30 pm

while driving home tonight my windshield wipers wouldnt turn off, i didnt engage them or anything, they seem to start by themselves when the headlights get turned on, when the horn is honked, or when i put on my right turn signal, and sometimes my right headlight doesnt come on
i have no idea whats causing this

Sounds a little like a faulty multifunction switch possibly since everything you're describing roots back to it.

:withstupid:

but if u can't able turn it off, disconnect battery and check multi-fuction switch and wires where plug into switch.

it happened to me, but i replaced only wires and it worked.

alright i finally figured it all out
i was really lazy last night and didnt feel like typing out the fact that the front bumper to my body kit was recently installed (also because i didnt think it would make a difference). so when i went to start my car this morning, it turned over , then died, i tried jumping it to my moms car, and nothing still. so eventially i realized that my brother ( a fellow neon owner who introduced me to this forum) had suggested to mount the ground wires that are near my hood latch to the stock mounting points (only this time there was fiberglass in between because he didnt think it would affect its abilities to properly ground and didnt feel the need to drill new holes in my car and it was easier to just drill into the kit). so i thoguht that was the issue, and turns out i was right . right now theyre the way they came because i was too lazy to drill new holes myself so i just disconnected the black supports that hold my hood support in place (also on top of the radiator) and pulled the kit up a little, mounted the grounds and placed the kit over that and re-attatched the radiator mounting things

in a completely unrelated topic, i recently took off rear section of my exhaust and put on an srt4 rear section exhaust that i bought off ebay and im now running the exhaust system with no muffler
so my question is : does the srt4 have a muffler? and where is it?
i see that alot of people are running similar exhausts but do they have mufflers on them? or does it even really matter
