body kits

this is a really stupid question but my dad doesnt believe me. Would i be able to take a body kit from say a 2000-2005 neon and put it on my 2000 as long as i got new head lights and tail lights that fit the form? (if so i get a new bodykit)

or point me in the direction of a forum

Should be in exterior forum, you will get more responses and more knowledgable answers, BUT to answer, on your 00, you can fit any body kit specifically for 00-02, if you pick an 03-05 kit, you need taillights and headlights from an 03+. If the kit says for 00-05 neons, then it is a piece of crap kit that will not fit because any respectable company has done their homework and knows of the slight differences between those two separate model years.

i bought mine on ebay and it said 00-05 but they offer the kit in both styles (00-02 and 03-05) and they dont carry any kits in stock, they make the kit when the order is placed and the customer tells them what theyre year make and model is
idk if the hoods are the same on a 00 02, and a 03 05 thou

There is a gap, I believe on the hoods... you know, actually, all this info is already posted in the exterior section under a sticky post.
