I also got rid of the old sub and amp set up and got me a single 12" Apline Type R in a Bassworx Box, powered with a Apline M650 amp.

The sub is rated at 500 watts RMS , and the amp is rated at 600x1 watts RMS at 2 Ohms. So its the perfect combination.Anonymous User wrote:looks nice.....if you want you can throw a 1200watt amp at that sub & i bigger box. =]
I'm sort of out of the sticker faze, well seeCrucialNeon wrote:the tank needs a sticker of some sort
yeah i know that, its just that the sub is known to be able to handle double of its rms, without showing stress. I was jsut letting you know.sullygully wrote:The sub is rated at 500 watts RMS , and the amp is rated at 600x1 watts RMS at 2 Ohms. Thanks my friend. I was thinking of doing the same, as last year i had the set up in the back of the trunk. I get so many people asking about air ride when i go to shows and meets, i thought it would just be nice to open the trunk, and then, BLAM, there it is right in there face.KrackstaR wrote:looking good sully. awesome work. i wish my set up was that clean. its just hidden behind the seats....lol

I see what you are saying. i don't plan on going in any audio comps, so unless i like to bleed from the ears on a regular basis(which i'm 99% sure i don't want), i'll stick with the smaller ampAnonymous User wrote:yeah i know that, its just that the sub is known to be able to handle double of its rms, without showing stress.
