shift knob refinishing project... *installed*

so i bought a $45 Tenzo R shift knob last year. it was "blue carbon fiber" and it looked great... for a couple months, then i noticed that one whole side of it had faded to a nasty green/yellow/blue color from the sun... so i took it out. well tonight i found it in a box and got a wild hair up my ass to paint it....

no seriously... the graphite looks nice and will blend in with the rest of the interior.

thats what i thought as well. i really wish i wouldve had a can of E-Blue paint, to match it to the HVAC bezel... so if i ever get around to picking up a can of E-Blue paint, it may get a recoat.

pick up an $8 touch up paint bottle at the dealer... when we do a meet I'll bring my small air brush and give it a couple of coats.

It blends in real nice. I'd be PO'd if I spent $45 on a knob, and it faded all nasty like that (within 1 year).

blhee e blue would be 10x better. go get a rattle can from the dealer for 10 bucks.

well the little bastard wont stay tight.... so its off again, so after i pick up a can of paint to paitn it blue, im gonna put some polyurethane in the knob and jam it onto the shifter.... thatll hold the motherfu....
