2-ways, 3-ways, or 4-ways
2-ways, 3-ways, or 4-ways
want to replace the stock speakers in the front doors. if i leave the tweeters hooked up on the dash and get 4 ways for the door, will i be loosing anything in those speakers? should i just get 2-ways or 3-ways instead? do neons have some type of filter that sends all the highs to the tweeters on the dash? is the stock setup considered component speakers?
I may not have been born in the South, but I got here as fast as I could!

so i should ditch the dash and door speakers and get a set of component speakers? will that require any rewiring or will the crossover take care of that? what about the rear speakers? i have read to use 6.5s back there instead of the 6x9s. any thoughts on that?

anything beyond coax speakers(two way) is just marketing hype usually.
the decision to use components is a matter of personal opinion. I have components in my car and I'm getting rid of them to go back to normal coax speakers(triax 6x9'x because i cant get the speaker i want in coax)
