so... i did things backasswards for once.... purchased a 36" glasspack from summit, then took a rough measurement of the long straight section of the mid-pipe on my SXT... came up with a 38"ish measurement. I'm thinking i just wasted money on the glasspack, since i want 3-bolt flanges welded to the glasspack, mid-pipe, and mid-pipe section that will have to be removed for the glasspack (so i can reinstall it for inspection/emissions/fix-it ticket purposes). Anyone used a glasspack this long when doing an SRT rear section setup?
yes i searched for srt exhaust and glasspack before writing this post. you do it, see how many posts you come up with.
All i'm looking for is if anyone has used one this long and how it fit. also, if you're running a 31", where'd you get it, and who is it made by?

I'm sure it'll fit fine, I've got a 2.5x29.5" glasspack with adapters welded on it and there's still room:

Keep in mind though, I hacked off about 3-4" of cat pipe to get rid of the reduction to 2".

^^^ Don't let that fool you, remember I hacked about 3-4" off my cat. Although when you add the about 2-3" per adapter sticking out it'll probably still work out. If not, it shouldn't be a big deal to hack the ends of the glasspack down to gain an inch or two as long as you're welding it.

I'm running a '31 Thrush Glasspack with my SRT exhaust (rear section). I got it from summit racing. Good shipping.
When I first started the car without A muffler it sounded really nice and deep. The srt section is loud..i'm not used to it.
