Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Update...New chop of wheels ima gettin(pg. 3)

Post by sullygully » Sun May 06, 2007 8:47 pm

Well the wheels that i really wanted are no longer available, so i've been doing a lot of searching this week trying to find the wheel for me.

And this is whats i've narrowed it down to:

Motegi DP12 (gloss black), 20x7.5, 42mm offset
Image

Konig Heatsink Opal 19x8, 40mm offset
Image

Motegi DP1 (gloss black), 20x7.5, 42mm offfset
Image

I'm steering towards the dp12's at the moment

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

Don't like the rivets on the lip of the black ones. So yeah, heatsink. but they need to be in a bronze or black.

I already have/had 18's. Reason being why i'm going bigger.
lambostealth wrote:Motegi is owned by APC.........Motegi FTL.

APC made my previous rims (ICON) as well, and they held up after hitting may potholes over the years.

Rivets aren't my favorite thing in the world, but i could always paint them black.

I don't really care what the fad is or what is getting old and what is in. I'm trying to do what looks best for my car. I don't care if someone else has the same rims, all i care is making my car look as sexy as possible

Actually, I have to disagree.... I don't think they look very good with red at all. Could just be the car though.

Motegi DP1 would be my second choice. I think those would look sick honestly.
