i am trying to find the best looking black/polished lip wheels in 17 inches for my e.blue neon.
anyone got any suggestions with links? or should i stick with my akita 17 inch hyperlight?

Well to each his own... I like edge racing service and prices so I just popped up what 17" would fit on a neon.

I was under the impression that while a 7.5" rim wasn't needed to run a 215/40/17, it was highly reccomended, and that the maximum reccomended width to run with 7" is 205. As in I know it's completely possible but perhaps not as safe. (Tirerack does, by the way, sell 7.5" rims for our cars, and they seem to stick to the reccomended stuff, because the only tire they reccomend for a 17 is 205/40/17. Not that the extra rubber wouldn't be awesome, but they seem to play it safe.)
