Heh, well to be honest, I really didnt glace at the front install instructions to much. It was pretty straight forward. Taking the front bumper off was a mild pain. I've never done it before until today, so I really had no idea what I was doing. My intent is to go back later this week and paint all the front bumper grill black. It took me about 4 hours to do the front and rear, but honesty I screwed up several times so it took longer then expected. I assembled and put the rear bumper on my car and then had to take the whole thing back off when I realized I left the styrofoam crap out. Plus I was doing it outside in the 96 degree heat so I took quite a few breaks.03sxt wrote:Did you paint the bottom portion of your front bumper, too, or did you cut the area out? I know the installation instructions recommend 'blacking' out that part, but I haven't really read the instructions for the rear.
How long did it take you to do the front and rear? I'd like to know how much time to set aside to do them... Taking off the front bumper's going to be a bitch, ain't it?
BTW, your car looks mmmuuuccchhh nicer!
Thanks! It is hard to tell from that far, but the front chrome trim is actually painted black chrome. It looks pretty hot and goes with my attempt at a blue/black theme. I intend to paint several of my aftermarket parts in the same color soon.03blackrt wrote:take that poo off, its too danm hot with it on!
tnk did have my favorite e-blue... but not anymore, sorry tink.
tho you shoulda had the front chrome trim sprayed blue too, that would have made it extra hot.
