Ordering "welfare" sways...what do I need?
I just about to order the "welfare" sways...PT front and RT/ACR rear. My Neon doesn't have a rear sway, so is there any hardware I need to get in order to install these? Any bushing upgrades I should look into?

r/t struts come with the tabs for the rear sway already attached. This will not work on your car. You can either do what i did (view sticky at top of brakes forum) or you can buy the tabs that were recommended in the second post of this thread.
For the rear you will need the bar, the u-brackets with bushings, end links (stock or like mine) and the tabs for the strut. For the front you wont need anything different, it will bolt straight in. Anything aftermarket is simply and "added upgrade"
Most of the stock stuff should be available through your local dealer.
If you have a r/t parts car you might as well take the rear struts and rear disk brake assembly.
And to clarify No the pt rear bar will NOT fit a neon
Stock se/sxt's came with either a 20mm or 22mm front bar (later years got the larger)
PT Turbos (non-vert) came with a 24mm front bar
PT Turbo Verts came with the meaty 26mm bar.
SRT's came with a 17mm rear bar
R/T ACR 2gn's came with a 19mm rear bar
I tried to make this as understandable as possible, If you need anymore help just let me know

Are you serious?!?! YES! That is the one part I was scared of finding...cuz they seem expensive! Whew! That's a relief!
So since the Tokico struts already have the sway plate, I need the endlinks and the frame bushings...so would these Energy Suspension parts work?

Anything else I would need?

One last thing to think of is the brackets for the rear sway bar bushings. You will need two of those and 3 bolts. 3 because one goes to hold up the evap canister. If you have the end link mounting perches (after market struts have them) then you just need end links. just get stock 3 3/4" (if you are getting Energy Suspension Prothane measures differently) end links and if you drop your car 1 1/2" the get 2 3/8" which is just about perfect. Go any lower look at 2" links.supertrick_05 wrote:Are you serious?!?! YES! That is the one part I was scared of finding...cuz they seem expensive! Whew! That's a relief!

Get Poly for front and rear and be happy
But what was listed should be OK. Get front bushings too.
My '04 SE had a 20 mm front bar. I cleaned mine and measured when putting on my bushing kit.CA180 wrote:

Just checking... I wasnt positive if you had seen it. They really arent a hassle. But if you dont want to go down that road, i can understand.
I side note, i wouldnt get poly bushings. They tend to squeek. Gets old. My stock bar mounts started squeeking, and it was a hassle to take it apart and lube them. Poly is worse
Seems like your over thinking this, really not much goes into it.
I'm sure youll throw it together fine!
