Hangining Idle

Post by neonsxt0486 » Fri May 11, 2007 5:48 pm

After I installed my sub, amp, box today my idle seems to be hangin. Usually when you press the clutch in to come to a stop it drops immediately to 800rpm but now hangs at 1500rpm then slowly goes back down. Any clues on what could cause this? Thanks guys.

check that you didn't loosen one of the vacuum lines on the engine when you were attaching your wiring kit to the battery. i know if my pcv hose is loose at all.. my revs like to stay at like 1500...

I have an auto, I know mine idles weird so I don't know if that had anything to do with your system, I too have an unnecessary amount of bass in my car and it hasn't changed the idle.
