did you grease the back of the brake pads with the special grease they come with? you don't need much, but i was told that if you don't use it, the brakes will squeek.

^^^^ like hes asking... cant just start using them for normal braking right off the bat... the brakes will get too hot too fast and then glaze over.... making them squeak and not brake to full potential
IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT...

Did you clean the rotors before you installed them?

another thing could be because your rotors were pretty grooved in from the last pads and then when you went to the new pads and didnt have the rotors shaved it rubbing against there makes a sqeaking sound... i dunno if you shaved your rotors tho

i dont think its the rotors. they looked okay and felt fairly smooth. im pretty sure i broke them in properly nd i didnt do any hard braking. i didnt clean the rotors either, didnt know u had to since they looked good to me. i didnt use the grease so thats prolly it. im going to go back and grease em up tomorrow and see if that helps.

Would suggest at least braking the glaze if any on the rotor. Should help noise reduction.
