I couldn't find the number either. Tried calling the local dealer and he told me R/T's don't need premium fuel....whatever.

Thanks for trying.

no, I think they mean the one inside the gas cap - it actually says "Premium Fuel Recomended" - white sticker, black words, about one inch long by half an inch tall. :D That the one??

Yes that's the one. The retard at the dealer said that R/T and SRT-4 don't need to run on premium. I told him that my 03 R/T had the sticker on the inside of the fuel door but he didn't believe me.

I was looking for the sticker to put on my PT fuel door since I'm going to install the Stage 1 PCM and wanted a reminder sticker for the other drivers (wife and son) to use premium instead of regular. That's being optimistic the other drivers would actually put gas in it to begin with. :)

I tried that using my inkjet printer on a decal then covering it in clear tape. After a few days the gas fumes or something wiped the print off of my decal.

I educated my other drivers to use premium after the Stage 1 was installed on the PT. Man that thing pulls f-ing strong now, it went from 180 to 235 hp and 210 to 275 ft. lbs. I wish that engine was in my 05 SXT. :D

According to the dyno graph those numbers are at the wheel. I find that hard to believe but that's what is says.

The factory tweaked it for 2006 the numbers jumped since the PT's aluminum intake was replaced by a improved composite intake. That's why the GT went from 220hp to 230hp for the 2006 model. It was actually put into production mid year 2005 and DC says the intake is good for an additional 8HP.

My PT Limited has the Turbo Lite rated at 180HP and 210 ft. lbs torque. The only difference between the Lite and the GT is the PCM. GT's require premium Lite don't. The Stage 1 PCM is the equilizer in that both versions are rated the same then. :D
