the hood was a custom one-off howell did for their sema show car. it has been discussed elsewhere on 2gn. do a search.

We are probably going to build it. We have gotten a lot of request for it.

You must like to or you wouldn't have bashed it. Fortunately for myself and my company few people agree with you.

Maybe you should post a pick of your car, so I can give you my comment on it.

it would *probably* allow you to fit a DOHC engine without having to modify the bracing of a flat hood.

edit: or not. see below.

Pure looks. That bulge is grafted directly onto a stock hood, none of the orginal hood was removed. The car is an engine swap and has a DOHC engine in it, and it fits under the stock hood.

It other words, if you want to put a DOHC engine in your 2nd gen, then you don't need to change the hood.

I think if you put that hood into production you would sell alot of them. I know I would like a power bulge hood.

As I have said before, the fascia look like a prototype srt-4 fascia with the "cross" taken out and the billet grill put in, with a huge lip. Am I right?

We make the fiberglass parts for DCX's SRT-4 drag team (Darrell Cox Racing), and some of the parts for the SRT-4 Ralley car. We took one of those noses and highly modified it. Changed the hood line to work with a standard hood, lowered the lip a little bit, and modified it to accept a 2004 Sebring grille.

I think that front is pure pimpness. If I was into body kits I would probably get that.
