New Here....

Post by DJSpellBound » Sun May 20, 2007 10:31 am

I've always loved the FAQ's and How to's on this board, finally decided to join up today and not stay in the shadows....You might have seen me over at neons.org or at fycracing....

I currently own a 2003 Black Neon R/T, with minor mods, 'saving' and waiting to do an engine swap with a SRT-4.

I lived in RI for about 3 years, moved here from NY and moving back at some point.

I'll post up some new pics later after I get the car semi washed after the rain we have gotten here....

The Dual 'dual' exhaust is coming off, I was bored one day last year and after a month I got sick of them, figured I'll change em once I do the swap and get a side exhaust.

looking good, thankfully your taking that exhaust off there.

welcome to the board.

be sure to fill out the garage or your sig so that in the future we know what you have. it will help when you have questions, or when you put in personal input and then we will know what car you had that experience on.

Welcome to 2gn!! I like your wheels...you should remove your side moldings and get black housing headlights.

Thankz, never thought about removing the side moldings, The car is get repainted next spring so it's definitely something to consider... and as for the headlights, I have angel eyes coming in next week....

Cool! removing the side moldings is easy, its just held on w/ 3m tape. Only thing you might run into is paint bubbling...some people have had that problem, even w/ the newer neons. All of them are different, but if your car is getting painted anways, Id go for it.

Ahhh, yes. I've seen those wheels before... They have other colors or you can buy some and paint them to match.

I'm not a huge fan of the thin spokes, but those seem to be pretty nice!

Time for a brake upgrade.
