AM acc guage dimmer??

Ive got an Autometer cobalt volt meter in my pillar pod. I am wondering what options I may consider in adding a dimmer to it. I had a phantom series and that was just WAY too bright. I got this and its nice...but I want it darker. I had thought about runing it thru the cluster dimmer but I want more control than that. Ideas?
