I hate people!!!! Update!

Post by biggrobb1995 » Tue May 22, 2007 3:12 pm

Friday night I got called in early at my job. I go out to my car and notice glass on the ground behind my car. I then notice the scratches on my bumper and that my exhaust is pushed in, so instead of my pipes sticking out about a inch past my bumper they are now about an inch inside of my bumper. So yea, messed up beginning to my weekend. BTW the glass at the back of my car was what was left of somebody's passenger headlight. Yea people suck!!! :cussing:

No cameras in the apartment complex I live in. Insurance is taking care of it though. I just gotta pay the deductible.

it really sucks that victims still have to pay a deductible.

atleast your damage isnt as bad as mine was.

good luck with it.

Yea the damage is nowhere near what I have seen on other cars. The bumper is just scratched and smudged up. My exhaust is pushed in and if you look under the car you can see that the pipe is out of place. I'm just really picky about my cars and don't like scratches n stuff.

Thanks guys. The insurance adjuster looks at it tomorrow so hopefully the exhaust is junk and I can get it "replaced".

So pissed right now. Damage is less than the deductible. Then I get home from work and my 90' pathfinder is gone. My apartment management had it towed because they said it looked like it had been sitting for too long and wasn't being driven and it has expired tags. The thing is the truck is registered and I have one of those things you put in the window to show your registration is paid. And yea the truck is dirty because we have a new subdivision going in next door.

someone sideswipped my moms 00 malibu a few years ago, and compltely ripped her back bumper off. The guy had to get his wife to work or she'd be late and fired, but he left a note and came right back.

Yeah, that's what the metro bus driver did when she tore the front off of my t-bird. she came back 3 hours later smelling like beer, so i called the cops and had her arrested for hit and run, and she got fired. she claimed she had a beer after getting off work, but she stank of it. and why would you have a beer before coming back to the scene of an accident that you left? hit and run FTL.

wow, i keep reading soooo many posts on various forums of hit-and-run victims (while their car was parked). i have two problems with this:

1) That is sooo fucking ignorant to hit someone's car and just leave. i guess if your drunk and dont want hit w/ DUI its better to risk it and leave, but it makes a hell of a headache for the owner. and depending on their insurance policy, its really unfair on their wallet.

2) How the FUCK do you hit a parked car?

perhaps it was mentioned in point #1, thus answering my own question: DUI. anyone drinking and driving needs kicked in the balls, repeatedly
