Got a little worried a the gas station...

After school today i had to go fill up, and the both said that they ran out of premium gas.... So I had to go farther down to finally get in line and wait for gas. Got it at 3.85 today before it went up

Most stations make mid-grade by mixing regular & premium. That way they only need two tanks in the ground instead of three. So, it stands to reason that if they were outta prem. they were probably out of mid-grade too.

I run 89 in my r/t every now and then, and have no negative effects...so far. Nothing audible is knocking

My ES can't take 87 and I always go to Chevron. When I fill up with 87 the car is kind of slow or I have to push harder the gas pedal. 89 feels better... gas prices here :
87 - 2.95
89 - 3.30
93 - 3.40

those are some big gaps between gas prices. Over here, each grade is a 10 cent interval and we only have 87, 89, and 93.

i just get the 89 no matter what...my 00 runs better on it so thats what I use...and prices to me...yeah I dont really look anymore... because it wont matter really.

not that I know of. I did my own little test and my car ran smoother and had a very little noticeable pickup in accel. but overall I feel it runs better on midgrade

I drive a ton of highway miles daily unfortunately and I do get better gas mileage with 93 over anything.

Just today 93 was going for $3.27 in RI.

How come you guys are paying so much?! I'm out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where everything is shipped a couple of thousand miles to get here, and I paid $3.45 today for premium.

Chitown area is been at 3.47 on the cheap side but as high as 3.76 for 87 octane and ad 20 - 30 cents for premium.

Massachusetts is apparently on the very low side of the national average, which I can't believe, considering they rape you for everything imaginable in this armpit of a state.

I just paid $2.88 for 87 octane yesterday, so I guess that's good.

man I'm paying 1.10 for 87. still hasn't gone down since the long weekend. I need to stop commuting. 60 km a day. each way.

Find gas the lowest gas prices in YOUR area, all of the USA and Canada.

MY area (southern Riverside, California):

3.17 - 87 octane
3.31 - 89 octane
3.41 - 91 octane

It was 3.45 for 87 last week. 91 was around 3.85.

I guarantee by year's end it will be @ 4 bux for 91, and this time next year it will be 4 bux for 87.

Mostly because Americans allow oil companies to bribe our congressmen and so regulatory laws are never passed. The oil prices have nothing to do with supply vs. demand.

Yup! What a friggin insult to the American people's intelligence. They used the hurricanes to justify price increase. Well, if it really was a problem for them, pump prices would go up, but their profit margin wouldn't change. I'm pretty sure that's not what happened!

I loved the whole "we need to put food on the table" thing that they used as well. Wow.
