Ordered new from factory. 2002 Neon R/T. No sun roof, Black leather interior with side air bags. Stone White exterior. SRT4 wheels with Yokahama Avid H4s 205/40R17 tires. 4 wheel anti lock disc brakes and traction control. Adult owned and driven. Never wrecked, raced or abused. Never driven over 127 Mph. Has about 33,000 miles. Oil and filter changed every 3k miles or less. I have a 2003 Ram Quad, a 2005 Neon Sxt auto and the 2002 R/T.
I will be getting rid of one of these by this January and need the truck to haul my boat unless I put a hitch on the 2002. The boat is 2,000 pounds. The Sxt can only haul 1,000 with the auto. The 2002 R/T can haul 2,000 with the manual trans.
What would be a fair price for the 2002? Its in good shape inside and out. The wife has used it the past 2 years to haul my 2 grand kids in car seats. The leather still smells new. I was figuring its worth more than the 2005 Sxt. Probably would get $8k or more with the right buyer. It still has a 7 year 100000 mile Maximum Care $50 deductable warranty in effect. Thanks, Rick
