Ebay Led Aftermarket Side Mirrors...Opinions

Post by 05srt4clone » Mon May 02, 2005 4:22 am

What do you guys think. Will they fit on my 05. What will I have to tap into to get the Led to blink? I am guessing the blinker from the front turn signal. Let's hear the feedback.

Thanks,
Ryan

some have said that they are smaller and do not have as much of a concave curve like the oem mirrors.

I have them for the 1G and I just hooked into the turn signal from the cluster panel and just put wire through my dash. I like them but I need to look over my shoulder everytime just cause I can't see at all in them. I think truckers see more then me. It is cool looking though.

I say get them they look good and not like you can't just look over shoulder to change lanes and crap and if a car is coming from afar I can still see it just not when it is next to my ass.

i had the ones w/ the led's for almost 2 years, the only problem i had w/ them is that they are 'highly illegal' here in my town. i ended up getting a $150 ticket for some silly lights. we wired them into the turn signals behind the steering wheel, from what i remmeber they were pretty easy to hook up. really really bright lights. i loved them, but when the cops wouldnt leave me alone, i got regular m3's and had them painted to match. i would get them though, they are hard to see out of (esp my new ones) but i they look good

First post here.

I just got my motorized M3 mirrors today, and I have no idea how to wire them up, or to do the interchanging blue/amber blinker. Obviously, blue will get me in trouble. Anyone have a diagram or words of wisdom? I'm a rookie when it comes to wiring.

i got them on my 05....they come with special brackets, and i had to cut a small piece so they would go on.....one of the pieces that you put the screw in...its pretty simple, you should be able to figure it out once you get them.

Getting them on the car won't be a problem...I guess my main concern is wiring up the blinkers. I've heard of either going down to the side marker or running them to the steeringn column...and that's where I don't know jack.
