Changed shoes/drums now ebrake doesnt work
I changed my shoes, hardware, and drums today. Now my e-brake just pulls up and doesnt hold the car in place. I'm assuming it just has to be adjusted. Is there an adjustment in the console? or are my adjusters in the drums off? Basically how do I go about adjusting my ebrake? oh yea, its an 01 se, thanks!

there should be a small rounded rectangular rubber piece on the back side of the brake itself which you can pull out. behind that is the dial that allows you to tighten or loosen the ebrake. (at least on an 03+, I'm not sure about the 01, but its worth a look or someone else will correct me.)

It should. As I understand it, it is the cable adjustment.

LoL did mine today to. On 01 there also a cable adjustment on the handle under the console. I'll be adjusting mine maybe tomarrow.
if your brakes work and stop the car then the adjuster at the wheel itself should be fine.
Just need to take the slack out of the cable.

lol, I've gotten lazy and pull on the ebrake while I am slightly moving and it seems to hold the car in place. See on my 03' the 'dodge' guy at the garage said the adjustment was in the center console.
'If' I can't adjust it on the rear brakes, is it a major pain in the ass to remove the center console?

6 screws... 1 in each cup holder towards the front and four in the center consol itself... the hardest part is lifting it out without banging everything.
