the disc converstion

Post by boxcarfan » Tue May 29, 2007 6:38 pm

ok so the master cylinders are different on the disc/drum from the disc/disc, and i sure as hell dont want metering valves on my rear disc....so if i really wanted to do it right, i would swap out everything....but are all the lines and what not the same...or do i have to change everything valves, cylinders and lines...or just valves and cyilders?

You don't need to touch the master cylinder at all. I did the swap to SRT-4 rear disc without any issues of brake bias. It's a very straight forward swap.

Check out this how-to it's excellent. http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=8325

The Neon SRT-4 uses the same brake as my PT Cruiser with the Turbo Disc brakes.
