they have those in Fulton County as well along RT. 30 one of them is actually a really long paved road though. but my father was a statie over there. people would try to drive up the gravel ones and get stuck. i guess that crash was better than continuing down the mountain, or going into some trees though

Most of the ones I've ever seen (along I-77) were made with sand and not gravel. I don't think gravel's the best way to slow a speeding vehicle. :-k That ones looks a little unmaintained (or carelessly made).

Those runaway ramps are everywhere. Bootjack hill near Ridgeway has like 4 on the "truck route" to go down the hill. the car route has 2, I believe.

There are a few of those on the Parkway West coming into Pittsburgh too. They are very common. Then again, I drive alot in PA so I guess i don't really think too much of them anymore.

That is one of the stupidest runaway lanes i've every seen. What where they thinking making those mounds?? Its like they dumped the gravel there, with the intent to grade it out, but never came back to do it. Moronic

They have those in VT as well.... When I had my cherokee I was visiting my friend up there and HAD to try climbing one of those in 4wd lol. The one I went on went back up the side of the mountian, so it wasn't gradual like the one in the video. It also was gravel.
