May 27th 2007
Painted The muffler flat black. The tip was really gross and rusted, and this hides it a bit I think.

May 27th 2007
Also got a polished aluminum AXT Shift knob
No installed pictures just yet, but its exactly like Bruiser's...just polished.

June 3rd, 2007

Removed the Black pinstripping and the dodge emblems on the sides. Still thinking of removing the side moldings, it looks like it will be okay, but I still need to think on that.

Tomorrow my boyfriend is going to try to wetsand my headlights for me while im at work.

We also changed out the spark plugs friday and found oil in one of the tubes, so I may be investing in a new valve cover gasket next.

^yes I sold the volvo and got this. I was tired of the big payment and it didnt get very good gas milage.

The first neon was light almond, this one is cinnamon glaze. I always wanted a CG and when I got the almond one, at first I thought thats what it was, but thats when I learned the difference.

^I had the valve cover problem w/ my 2nd neon also, so as soon as I get the time, Im going to be changing out all the VC gaskets and all.

My boyfriend wet sanded the headlights for me and they look alot better, but the clear we had sucks. so we may try sanding one more time and then a different clear. I do plan on getting new ones eventually though.

#-o
First and formost, dont clear them.....
Try these steps....
1 - brake fluid wash, soak the lens with brake fluid. Dont let it hit the paint though...wash the lens with the brake fluid, then carefully remove the residue and then wash with a mild detergent to clean them up. How do they look?
2 - If the above did not help, wet sand the lens like you would clear coat on paint, but once all the wet sending is done and the lens is clean move to #3
3 - Buff the lens like paint, BUT be carefull not to stay in one spot for to long, you will heat up the plastic and cause it to warp!
Do not put clear on the lens since it will discolor after awhile and look like s$it.... :)

Wow. Jacqui, the CG looks awesome! Now with the Volvo gone you get to mod another hawt Neon, just make sure you don't go so far that you can barely drive it like Beautiful Bruiser.
