Not so much. A transgender is a person who feels they need to be a person of the opposite sex, and take hormones to change their body to the other sex. Most of the time these are people that end up getting sex change operations done. A transvestite is a person who simply dresses as the other sex, without as much of the feelings of needing to be the opposite sex. See also: Drag Queen.

Seriously, what's so wrong with it? What's wrong with people doing what THEY feel is right for THEM?

Yes, I take serious offence to people that can't just let others go without saying "eww" "gross" "what is wrong with people these days?"

We have a transgender here at work. M2F. Everyone at work knows, and accepts this. No one talks down about her, no one talks behind her back, we all accept her for being a human being and wanting to make her own choice.

This is why I hate the human race.... some people just will never understand.
