Cute pup Derek. We had an albino pure bred pit when I was younger. She had pink/reddish eyes and we called her Blanca. She was a big baby.

yeah the little brat wasn't so cute last night when i got about an hour of sleep total!! lol. She whined and barked allll night long, i thought i was going to pull out my hair, only a few more nights of this and i think she will be okay. we are crate training her, she will be in the crate at night and when we are both gone at the same time. other than the squeeling and barks at night she is awesome! our apartment is 1000 square feet.

I know how that is. Our cat when she was a kitten was always keeping me awake too.

Do you know anything about the parents? I know that pits shouldnt get to big depending on what it was bread for and how the lineage is for her. My budy's pit is 120lbs....he was bread for sled pulling and his father was the world champion sled puller in 2003 i believe...Sled pulling is when they pull sleds with weight on it for a certain distance. I had a pit but I had to get rid of him. He only got to 40lbs but his father was a fighter and he had a horrible mean streak in him. He never barked he only bit......silent but deadly......He was and Alpha Male and I was his only dominance so he would get agressive with any and everyone else. Had to put him to sleep. At least he made it to hi 2nd B-Day

sorry to hear that wisher. her dad was 120 and her mother was about 65 lbs, and considering the size of her paws and head and how fast she's grown, we expect somewhere right in the middle (75-95). I'm planning on training her to be very obedient and id like to get her strength training asap. She's gonna be a beast for sure, but a nice one! thanks everyone!

Around 10 weeks:
Sprawled out, 12 weeks:
Snoring in her crate:
Most recent (13 weeks):
Heres a pic of my bird Fuzzy. He's 15 years old and goin strong
And heres on of my mali uromastyx, Killer, gettin his shed on.

used to take care of my friends american bull. He grew bigger than most full sized german shepards and rots at 11 only months. I would literally have to play tug of war with him to make him stop during our walks. He would also eat full sized australian pine cones without having fully developed teeth.
Be prepared for a big dog man.

Yeah she's a lunatic, she's already chewed her way into about $1000 worth of damage around the apt. Anyone know how to fix patches of carpet?

Damn thats crazy, did you get a nylabone yet? My dog used to tear up phone books and stuff, when she was a pup, soon as we got her a nylabone a lot of it stopped, tho she still has her bad streaks, lol

get her a nice thick piece of rope and get her accustomed to it.
